About
Hi and welcome to “I am Lovable” blog. This is my fun blog.
Initially, I was going to blog about being single in your 30’s and 40’s and how I married at 43 and had undergone a transition from single hood to wife. My main purpose was to encourage women to love and embrace their status as a single woman in their 30’s and 40’s and that having a man (whether married or not) does not define you, nor is it a key to your happiness. It’s wonderful having connections, but don’t spend your life/time chasing after men just to have a boyfriend or a husband. When you are happy with yourself, and find contentment in solitude, staying home on Friday nights wearing your favorite negligee, curled up on the couch with a good book or movie, that is the space where things are happening “behind the scenes”. I envisioned the blog postings to be a journey where I get to share ways I spent my time and money, how I handled Valentine’s Day and holidays, and, how to avoid married men at all costs! Lol.
But I became engulfed last year with building my online business as a virtual assistant. I studied and was coached to become a certified Online Business Manager, and invested my time and money on learning the in’s and out’s of Internet Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Wordpress Blog Setup (I’m still a rookie), and a number of other online classes (too long to list and the thought of mentioning them hurts my brain cells)!
I didn’t feel that I wanted my blog to be about that – but about self care in all areas and how taking care of ourselves actually frees us up to take care of others. I have a strong desire to share ways a woman can love herself without becoming self centered, especially because working from home has it’s challenges. It’s easy to wake up, get ready and commute into work, you’re on a structured schedule and you can plan your work out’s, meals, get together’s, and errands. I can’t relate to the working woman with children, as I don’t have any. I’ve observed and have seen that your lives and schedule do revolve around children’s school, homework, programs and sports. I am also keenly aware that the life-style in California is quite different than most states so this may not be the blog to follow.
I’m just going to blog about skin-care (difference between skincare products and skincare treatments); clothing, fitness, vitamins, attitudes, etc.. I’m not a doctor and I am not dispensing advice, but sharing what I am doing that is helping me cope with female stress – our hormones change in our 40’s, skin, mental thoughts and attitudes, etc. I don’t think my blog can relate to women in their 20’s or 30’s, but they can sure learn alot from a woman who spent a great deal of time as a single woman in that age group, in the high tech industry in Silicon Valley – so I can offer insight into relationships and office situations. I do have my stories!
If you want to know about me, just google my name and you’ll learn alot about me – other than that, you will learn alot about me from reading my blog and I don’t expect anything at all. I do hope that when I mention that I’m a committed christian that the hate responses will be kept at bay because this blog isn’t about converting people and changing their minds about their beliefs. If a person really wants to know about living a different lifestyle, then I’d be happy to have a one on one,but not on a forum.
This blog is just for me to share great products, tips, stories about me and people, professional or personal. It’s not a place to debate anything.
Thank you for visiting me – feel free to contact me if you want to guest blog here!
Ciao and Hugs,
Ana Lucia Novak
